The main objectives of the Jamia are:

  • To strengthen the roots of faith in the minds and hearts of the Muslims.
  • To stem the tide of apostasy (in the form on deviant sects) and atheism which constitute a challenge to the Islamic faith, ideology and way of life.

Apart from running the Islamic University, it has undertaken several social welfare activities in the region for the benefit of poor muslims like:

  • Construction of Prayer Halls in poverty ridden villages
  • Construction of community toilets
  • Digging of bore-wells
  • Enabling livelihood of the poor by assisting them in setting up petty business
